where can I get a windscreen for my y2k?

Krakmeup fabricated a pair on his...I kinda liks his idea.... he took a flat peace of lexan followed the arch of the canapy approx 3" wide or so. I think he drilled into the fiberglass and put anchor nuts in then attached the windscreen with a couple thumb screws. Maybe he can chime in and show some pics and how it works....

Gary, you're right; that's exactly what I did. Unfortunately, I haven't taken any photos because the lexan work was a bit sloppy and I wanted to re-do them. I found brass barrel nuts at the local home improvement store and embedded them in epoxy at about 12" apart I was able to drill into the lip of the fairing easily). I took 1/8" lexan and cut it about 4" in height, which is plenty without being too weak. I then covered the edges with pinch trim and found some nice knobs which are left in place when we don't want the screens up. Just adding a nominal 2" above the fairing will make a HUGE difference, and you can still see thru it. Those cold or drizzly days are more manageable, but at dusk the smoked lexan can impair vision. My final version will incorporate slotted screw holes so I can simply drop them down when the cockpit cover goes on. I'll try to take some pics this weekend if you promise to be kind on my prototypes!!!

What do you guys think of a Superboat aftermarket business? COuld be extended to several other brands for common issues that manufacturer doesnt want to bother with.

I do have the Windaways that I used on my Sonic. There is not enough lip on the Superboat to securely fasten them. I have an idea on how to make them work, but not confident it will look nice. Thanks
