Why is it 7 mph slower if it weighs less ??

Jeff knows all motors are not created equal. Also all dynoes are not created equal. Jeff happens to have access to the best most accurate dyno in Ny so he knows what works.

The Yellow 27' goes 87-89, 92 or ??? with a 560HP/525HPMerc.
And the new Blue 29' goes 80, 85, closer to 90 when it cools down???
Hmmm
The new 29' Activator is truly a great looking ride and yes, a little faster than the Super Y2K.
I'd take the Super for 2/3 the $$ if I could afford either...

Brand New: 24' Activator with a 496 375HP, goes 67.2 MPH on best time on GPS, my brother owns one upstate in Lake George, my 1980 24' Superboat TRS, BBC 454 stock pulls him I go 69.9 GPS. Plus in rough water or more people in the boat he's not even close to me, looks like he's going 40MPH and is all over the place in a rough chop. Diffrent size boats than you guys are talking about.

Re: SPEEDBOAT Photo shoot, pictures
From what I hear about prices, I would buy a 525 Y2K and be a few MPH slower.......................And with the left over money buy a nice 2 seat sport's car !!!!!!
