I have been threw all the pages in your thread, Can you give more detailed info on your motor, part numbers, block, pistons, intake, cam, etc, does it run on pump gas, what would it take to duplicate your engine, I think my racing days are over and would like to sell the 2 engines I have and build one monster motor. Any help you could forward would be greatly appreciated.

What's up Eddie? I don't know the crank and pistons as I type this but I will tell you what I know. Runs on 91 octane. They did the dyno pull down to 3000 rpm at wide open on 91, no detination at 30 deg timing. As for cost, I promised I would'nt share because of some special treatment as the first Y2K out here. Plus his relative works with me. But here is his number (1-951-674-4505).
598Ci
Carb= Dominator 1050
Intake= Raher Morrison Racing CNC Super Vic 8082
Rocker arms= Jesel system
Heads= AFR's CNC 357
Compression= 9.8
Cam= Comp Hyd roller 262/266 .647 112 ls
Headers= Lightning 1.78"
Tailpipes= Lightning 5" internal muffler dry stacks
Pan= Hamberger's Racing Pans
Here's the dyno sheet I had posted earlier.

Re: Faster
Eddie the motor sound expensive , AFR heads worth every buck and about 75 more HP, Jesel rockers also not cheap. The only thing I would have done is a solid roller cam.

Re: Faster
but he has 800, do you know where the block came from, what kind of fuel pump are you running gph. The wipple charger is 9k plus rebuilding my motor your looking at 15k, how much do you think it would cost to build a monster dream motor, what parts do you guys recommend, crank, pistons, lets build a mock engine and I'll research the parts

Re: Faster
My 600efi is running about 25k w/ all the trick stuff... if I go carb I can save about 6k.... I have yet to see anyone build a blower motor ground up (that is going to last more then 10 hrs) for less then 25-30k (the blower package alone is 6k+).
I'm taking the route of low compression so If 600 isn't enough (hahaha its never enough) I can just force feed it and have 800-900 still on pump gas.

His boat ran 88-92mph depending upon loading.
Last we heard from him, his engine was being rebuilt with a little more power expected.
