Please post pics of your Superboat......
Hey guys,
I am seriously considering buying a Y2K! I do alot of boating in Lake Havasu, a V bottom is the boat of choice for me and I would like to sit down. I would like to see pics of your boats in water, out of water, inside, cockpit, engine room, etc..... Please post whatever you can. Thanks :drink: |

My buddy has an upholstry shop. He did them for me using the same carbon-fiber look vinyl that I used on the seats. I spent $1,000. We stitched velcro on the back of the side cushions and stuck velcro on the hull-side. For the seat bases we stitched a piece of vinyl along the bottom forward edge(doubled it over) and put some snaps underneath. Very simple, clean and lotsa padding for the stabin-cabin ;) For the rug, a piece of marine rug that I ran up the seatbase just a tad so I could secure it down with snaps. He also re-did the v-pad coushions with thicker 3"padding cause at first he used (as per my request) the 2in. high density foam that we used for the seat-backs, but proved to be to hard(As I found out when I slept on it the night before the photo-shoot). |

Rick I agree, the Superboat is an excellent value. I just have to sell my boat 1st :( I actually like having twins, I guess I could get used to one motor. I need to see Fasterdammit's boat up close too see the quality of your Y2K. |

We can also do a Y2K with twin smallblocks. The one that we did last year only had twin 6.2, 320 hp motors, and does 84. Have a pair of 450, 500hp motors and your really flying. Rick |

Semper Fi, twins are great, no one could argue that point. However with the right motor in a Y2K you will find your self ahead of the pack most of the time. I put the merc. 600 in Superbabi, and for sure she always runs with most other brands twins. My buddy runs a 33' PP with 500's and we run side by side...................Good luck with your boat sale, Its easy to buy them, But hard to sell some times. Gary
