Still thinking it over.
I have come up with a design to raise the hatch 1 to 2". Thanks for the ideas. I did a quick mock up and it looks like it will work well. The plan is to use oak rails that are notched (used a router) to sit right on top of the fiberglass lip. I use a scrap piece to test the concept and it worked great. What about you? |

Just as a thought, the Bassett polished stainless Tri-Y's we have sold are about an inch lower than the stock Mercury risers and they do a great job of making power and torque. They would be a great solution for those who have real clearance issues. When you install one of our kits the ugly plastic cover goes bye bye and the overall motor package is one inch lower. Enclosed are some fellow OSO'ers Raylar packages.
