Thanks for the info guys. I probably would go with the I/O as I am in Hot Rods myself and the engine sound is something I like. I thought I would have heard that it was horrible 1st time boat. I am glad to hear otherwise.
I will continue to watch the builds and hope it works out for me this spring. Thanks

What ever boat you get, take the time and take a boating course. Ct requires it before you can get a license, I'm not sure about NY. Chapmans boating book is a great book to read and keep on the coffee table. And take the time to learn the neuances and handeling characteristics of the particular boat you end up with before you "HOT ROD" it... And never drive past the comfort zone of your passangers and you will get the most enjoyment and greatest of times with family and friends...Thought no one said it was gonna be cheap!!!

I think I bought the only 05, 24 and I am very pleased. I went with the 496/375 and just the bare basics. The boat impresses anyone who takes a ride with its ability to handle the rough water at speed. I put a ton of hours on the boat last summer and still cannot get the grin off my face.
Good choice.

Hey Ducati 750,
If your interested I have a 1994 24 superboat with twin 2.5 outboards up for sale. It has all the goodies , Latham hydraulic steering, 280 K-planes Low water pickups , Mazco props , bezels and a trailer . I'm asking 22 k . Call me and I can send pictures . Dave M. has seen the boat and djtalon has been in and drivin the boat so you can get more info about it from them. The main reason I'm selling is I'm going to go bigger.

Hey Jack ,
Thanks the boat is still running good. Momma says she would like a bigger boat . Who am I to argue with that. Things are ok up here the weather is starting to get cool. I'm getting ready to put the boat up for the winter. Hope all is well with you and your wife .
