I'm a Mechanical Engineer by education and worked as one for almost 10yrs for a heavy construction equipment OEM.
Just started a new job today as a Business Unit Manager for a company that supply components to Aircraft and Military industry.
Engineering is a fun career most of the time and it pays pretty well. But, there is no real potential for huge income unless you go out on your own and manufacture something.
