What do you do for income?

I thought I would start something new here.
What do you do?
What do you like about it?
What don't you like about it?
Would you change if you could?
I am in the Home Mortgage business. A loan officer for Ameritech Mortgage. Great hours. Come and go as I please. My wife does marketing with Real Estate agents for me. Money is good if your good.
One thing I don't like is: Alot of people in the business of including Escrow, Title ect.. that are lazy and slow down your closing dates. You try everything to meet deadlines but someone always seems to try to through a wrench in it.
Just changed carreers this year. I was a parts dept. director for five automotinve franchises. 17 years in the business and decided it was too much work and stress. Good money though.

I'm a mechanical design engineer for a packaging machine builder.
The job is OK so long as the boss leaves me alone...
$$, not enough for me to buy a new Y2K...
Do I need a change? Maybe in 2006...
