It's official !!! JC recieved the deposit today. Turbine by next spring.
Pat,
the exhaust will come out the rear of the engine hatch ( a new 8' one will be fabricated ). And I believe the swim platform can stay on, since the notch in the transom will be filled.
Jc seems to think that the other choice, a T53, which is only 4' long, and also 1400 HP, would make a nice package. Literally no modifications to the hull or deck. All that would be needed is a new engine hatch.

This boat will also have saddle tanks in the engine compartment. Bringing alittle more weight back.

Hmmm, where can I read more about this T53?? Can it be retro-fitted? Hmm.....
