OK guys, a BBC and bravo drive weigh in at 1200lbs. The turbine and Sage drive 800. So lets chop 400lbs.
How much less is a light weight hull? 300-400lbs.
5500-800=4700
Lets use 5500lbs, 72mph, and 425HP to calculate the constant and adjust from there...
And the survey says?

Pat our boats rigged with fuel don't even weigh 5K. I'm going to see if I can get Coen to bring the Yellow Y2K to the weigh station.

Pat, 4700 lbs. ( weight ).....1400 (hp)......250 (constant) ='s 136 mph. Also the new aired out bottom will add a couple mph's !!!!!

Obviously, the faster the better, but to be honest, I'll be happy as long as it goes over 100 mph, which I think we can be certain it will.

More important is that I can cruise comfortably at 80+ mph, and of course blow away anyone who challenges me.

That sounds about right to me.
4650 + 50 gal of fuel =4950lbs.
