Ok, I followed through page two and then jumped to the last page and you still don't know where and when it is going to be! I vote you do it at Tripps's house. That way he won't have to drive. :D Kidding aside, why not do it at the dock/park, just west of the Robert Moses bridge on the way out to the Ocean. South side of the chanel, on Fire Island. If not there what is wrong with Coen's place ( forget 15 boats there though )??
You could also raft up along side the Captree bridge on the west side.

Why not make it a run out to Oakly's like we did two years ago for the Fountain boat blast? Just plan the thing!! :D :D

Even though I was originally against it. The day dock on the east side of the bridge would be the best spot. Close to the ocean if you want to play, and close to Kismet !!

I Thought The Dock Was Just West Of The Bridge On The South Side Of The Inlet ? I Could Be Wrong As I Dont Get Out On The Boat Much And My Memory Is Fadding. So Is It Going To Be June 24?

The dock is on the west side of the bridge, on the south side, We want to avoid the east side of the bridge . Thats where the USCG station is. My fault. The dock that we are interested in is to the WEST side of the bridge on the south side of the chanel that leads to the inlet. Very close to the bridge too. The East side is the Coast Guard Station, and much furhter from the bridge. My bad....

Saw one of your boats at Monsta Marine today. Joe is the name of the owner. 30 foot with twin 6.2's. Very clean boat, nice guy too. Didn't ask if he is online here.... If so, are you out there???

Lets see,100 miles x2= 200 miles divided by 5 mpg=40 gallons x 3.00 a gallon = 120.00 $ tires are less,the ferry would be 125, drivin around would be 50 with gas and tolls,are my #s right?? tripps

Well, not quite...
Yes, it is about 200 miles from my house to yours and back.
Maybe 3mpg, so about 70 gal or $200. I would need 4 tires, at $80 each, so the gas is cheaper and I'm not sure about the bearings yet either... :rolleyes:
I'd rather drive the boat around but only if another boat goes along for the run... :cool:
I can make the 24th work, one way or another. How about you tripps? The NYC poker run is the weekend before... :eek:

I would meet you in the Shinecock and run back with you. Just past the locks by Mariners Cove Marina. We could do the ocean or inside. I'll do the 100 mph thing too :D ......
