93 octane is not available on Block Island, and I'm not sure if it is in the CT River anymore either.
93 is going away in 2007 from what I have read.
I do know 91 is still available in the CT River.
I run 89 in my little MPI motor... :drink:

From what I read on another thread the Poker Run from Ocean Performance is $700. I am not sure if that includes the hotle stay either. These Poker Runs are getting to be very expensive.

You are right Titan, the hotel is not included.
Add gas to the mix and it's $1000. Yes vary expensive... :(
I would spend $250-$300...
So that is a boat of 4 splitting the cost which sounds a lot more reasonable... :cool:

Sounds about right to me also.. Anybody thinking of going by water . I was thinking of leaving from my Parents house in Shelter Island. I read that a destination point for the weekend events on Sunday is Claudio's. Who wants to leave from Greenport on Fri. afternoon run accross to Old Saybrook....

Sore Thumb is the perfect place, however, you need hot weather. You have to beach the boats, or anchor out, depending on the size of your boat, which means you have to get wet. July or August is the time.
