I take it no one is really leading the charge on setting up this get-together? Anyone talked to JC about hosting a regatta this summer for all the owners... Just trying to gauge how serious this is going to be?

Huntington,i basicaly set up the first one then others helped continue it along,then the socond one was a complete flop!! Pat and peconic came here all the way from out east,i broke a mota goin out to meet them,then we went to a local place around here. Its easy to gather a few locals,but i know outatowners have a harder time planning traveling. You saw my posts,i don't even have a superboat,but i help cause of the commaradity,and being around here. Check out the past superfests by going into the archives if you can,or maybe someone can find it . we had about 20 boats for the first one,maybe we can get more this time. all are always welcome,check out the summergathering out at clauido's last year tripps

What Weekend In August ? We Need To Pin It Down Alittle More Than That. If We Have It At Some Beech In August We Will Have To Start Early, It Gets Mity Crouded Up Here In The Summer. Anything going on in august that will take out some weekends.

13th Annual MANHASSET BAY GOLD CUP POKER RUN 2006

scheduled for July 29, 2006.

Aug 18th-20 is Orange Beach, AL races for OSS which we plan to attend

I haven't checked other race and poker run schedules though..

What about Aug 5th weekend? I'll probably have to just fly in and boat 'ho with someone - RA has bikini, will travel :)

My Vote would be either side of NYC poker run in June.
Sooner the better, August is too far away... :drink:

Have have had 3 e-mail correspondences with Poker Runs America over the last two weeks asking questions.
They keep saying the info will be posted on their web page in the next day or two... :rolleyes:
Anyway the last I heard was the lunch stop was changing???
I hope they are still planning Block Island.
Anyway the last stop is up the Thames river and then a party at the Casino. I'm thinking my boating day will end in Block Island or back at the start in the CT River.
We shall see what their plan is, but for sure I do want to run the course regardless of the party at the Casino... :D
