What did it start out as, a Merc496? I have a HP3 496 and was wondering what I could do with it, will a carb and intake fit on it and are the headers the same bolt pattern as a Gen 5 block. I havnt been able to find any parts for it if I wanted to remove the fuelinjection.

If you still have your HP500EFI, that is the engine to boost; and I do mean that literally. Lots of supercharger packages to bolt on that baby to make 750+HP...
