Early Season Run to Claudio's
#153
PE, thanks for all of the pics of the Cig.
Thanks for having us along. Had a great time. I was wondering if you guys made it back before the rain. It was pretty rough coming home. It was cool running with you guys. Hope to do it again sometime. I'd never seen a Y2K up close before. What a freaking cool boat. They looked great running alog as well as everyone.
Any of you guys doing the PRA event here in July???
Danny

Looks like you guys had a good time. There was a nice turnout. I was out at the boat early on Sun in Patchogue and there were already three to four footers in the Bay. So I decided to stay close and went to Flynn's for cocktails. Coming home there were 4 to 5's. Good thing I did not go east.
I will be out in Sag Harbor all of Memorial Day Weekend if any one wants to meet at Claudio's or go cruising let me know.

No, we did not make it home before the rain hit. In my little 24' we were getting blasted by the white water so it didn't much matter anyhow. Andre and I just laughed the whole way home bouncing through the 5 footers at 30mph...
As for the PRA event July 15, I do plan to run at least part of it in an unofficial status. Block Island seems to have a way of sucking me in and I don't have much of an interest in going to the casino. Not to mention the $700 entrance fee will buy a lot of gas for other summer adventures...
Great Pictures PE!
If I count correctly, my buddy Gregg in his 29' Fountain, broke the tie. 5 Fountains to 4 Superboats...

It was a good time! Thank you for posting the pics. It was fun meeting everyone. At least my azz and my neck feels better today. I droped my boat @ Superboat 7:30 this morning to take care of my little gelcoat mishap. I couldnt believe that Rick called me to tell me it was all done just as I walked into work at around 11:00 AM. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!!! A BIG THANK YOU RICK!!!!
