Hey all ,
I had problems posting in here, some computer glitch ( a glitch like i forgot to renew and give my 35 dollar annual donation)
Sounds like we may have a good turn out, I wasnt planning anything formal just any and all are invited. I have a few friends that may meet us by bike.
I was thinking of a first stage meeting spot of the first robert moses bridge in west Islip 10am right at the center span. I am up for inside or outside , I guess we should let the weather decide, some smaller boats may not want to go outside.
I will give a call to Claudios and the dock guy. I dont think it will be a problem this early but its always busy on a nice sunday.
The Jessie James III is still not ready but we will be there if we have to borrow an egg beater from Tripps
Zup and Tripss you guys must have a boat ready between you?

I spoke to Claudios today, The official reservations are for 11:30 am sunday may 21 , we need to try and all be there before noon! The dockmaster wasnt there because of the weather but there are docking fees! I will get the info asap on what the fees will be , The reservations are under the name" JESSIE JAMES SPRING BLAST OFF" If you think you are coming please add your name so I can get a head count. I hope it rains itself out this week!

They are so full of ****!! Every yr. they attempt to charge for docking, then at some point they stop. Lets see how long the dockboys stay when they don't get anymore tips. Greenport town has just installed brand new docks. I don't know what the fees are though

I think you ment to say 3-4' waves... When it gets much larger than 3', I slow way down in my 24' Super too. Not that the boat can't run in it, just my body hurts too much the next day...
Hey Rick, just run the inside through West Hampton, and no worries. You don't need a two hour head start, it's only about a 2-1/2 hour ride total at 35-40mph...
We'd love to have you along Rick, please do come...

Well spoken. It is not how fast you get there. Just as long as you get there. It will be a nice ride. And Claudio's is a great place to hang out and meet everyone....

I know of one more 29 Progression that will be coming along as well. So count me and one more as 2...

Its true the docking fees are BS, now Claudios says there is no fee just the dock guys tip, we can discuss that over lunch, the truth is they are usually very good and I always tip them well anyway, The latest forecast is sunny and 70 degs, not the best but Ill take it! Rick I think I will be coming inside also ( I am bringing Kids ) So no excuses!
