Default 30 Y2k Interior

The only bad thing i have heard about the 30' Superboat is the interior, and how "unfinished" it is.

Any owners out there put some extra $$ into the interior? Did you do it through John or aftermarket?? How much??

Pics would be great.

It's not a negative thing to me. I want my boat fast as possible. Performance is #1 to me. Thats why I chose Superboat. When you add a fluffy cabin your gonna lose speed. The one thing I think JC should do is use the seats like mine. Maybe cost a little more but well worth it.

Trying to talk John into using a more highback seat but hes not the most receptive person to change. My back up plan was allways to have it done aftermarket if I wanted more then the basics. Like Tom said the fluffy stuff slows you down and speed is what its all about!!!

Had a ride in John's today. Interior wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. But the two-tone does look the best, I agree. Definately going to go for something like yours Fasterdammit if i get a SB.

But awesome boat for the money. John did say he was working on new front seats. So we will see.

Your boats looks great...would probably do a similar paint job and a similar seating. Not sure when i'd order but very close. Want to have it by next season (spring here), so sept i'd say. Looking at a few other boats b4 we decide.

What kind of stereo do you have in there? Did you get that yourself and have JC install it?

Rick prewired the mid speakers. I installed my own stereo. Bought everything from ebay. I have a Pioneer deck. Kicker sub with box in front of the drivers seat. Four Polk 6.5's in the cockpit. 5 channel Kenwood amp mounted in the cabin in front of the passenger seat. Pushing 425rms to the sub, and 70rms to each Polk.
What other boats are u lookin at?

Is that a marine stereo? We want to have a pretty good stereo becasue we plan on spending some time out in the water without outrunning everyone. hhaa Could you maybe post some pics of your setup?

Yours has the 525 in it right? You running about 80?

We are loooking at the new donzi 27 zr, activator 30, and the progression 27 or 29. Going to be a tough choice, but the SB pricing is undeniably great. SO we will see.

Had a ride in the SB and activator yesterday. Activator really ripped, was the orange 100mph one. We hit 96, but i'm not sure we want to spend the $$ they are asking for those boats.

Just a standard stereo head unit with a waterproof cover. My boat has a 598ci in it. Best of 94 in the Havasu heat. Salt would probably be a few more mph. Pics will have to come layer, my boat is about 120 miles from me right now.

Tholland,
If you want a full interior. We can put it in. I think it's around $ 4,500.00 for a carpeted interior. Plus we also have a molded sink and cooler that can also be added.
