Hey Pat,
I will be at the ramp about 9am also, the weather is looking great .
I am going to give rich Owen a call today with a heads up and yes its important to remember we are guests of the river rockets . A 30y2k is a toy with the crowd at the hot toddy run, but its a big boat to the river rocket guys. They really are a great bunch and I find them alot more hospitable than the poker run crowds. And
Remember when the JesseJames boat was the big dog! dam they are getting fast ! I spent the summer detuning ,smaller carb went from 1150 to 1050, dropped the boost from 6psi to 3psi I removed the drive spacer and set the limiter for 5300rpms , I just didnt want to eat another bravo. I did add several sets of speed rails to the hull, they completely eliminated my poor bow lift problems and gave me 3mph

Hey JCperf, you going to be there? I still want to hook up with you to do some work for me this winter!

I just spoke to rich owen, and because of insurance problems they arent able to go to the spot they have been using, too bad it was a great spot , so now the plan is to go to an island and beach the boats, easy for a 17 ft river rocket ,a little tougher for a 30 fter ,but he said the pizza will be water taxied in so the party is still on!! Weather is still holding out and I hope to be at the ramp by 9 am , Zuper and trips are meeting me on the north shore at 6 am anyone else jus giv me a call
Jim

Gary ,speed rails need to be another thread
