Will the Progressions show?
There may even be a Fountain or 2...

Might be a slim chance of 2 29 Progression's coming up from Greenport.... I will definatly be there. Going right now to put 100 octane in the Boat .....

I'm sure there will be a couple of 22' or 24' outboard Progressions by trailer.
How about the Activators? Outboards, I'm sure, But I/Os?

Going up you should be fine but you, guys will hit a ton of traffic on 95 on the way back. That is why I said you guys should trailer out to Greenport( east end of LI) only about a 15 minute trip accross the sound. Why drive?

As for the gas I put some more boost in the boat so I wanted to be safe..

You can read between the lines I guess...... Not sure if it is going to happen though with the drive spacer as low as it is. Did not have time today though to pull it out. But it did turn a respectable number with 3 people in the boat and 100 gallons of fuel....

I gave my boat a bath yesterday. She is probably not up to Dave M's standards but at least the sand and mud are out and the scum line off...
The slow boat is ready to rumble...

For the guys coming across the sound, let's hope it lays down for you by morning, because it's going to kick up something fierce this afternoon and tonight...

Titan,
If you can do Greenport to Old Saybrook in 15 minutes, that would have to be some sort of a record. Even the triple digit 40 footers took a bit longer than that during the July Poker Run...
The best I have done crossing the Sound is just under 12min from the light house at Orient to the light house at the break water in Old Saybrook...

Anyway, eveyone please have a safe trip whether you're coming by land or by sea...
I'll be at the ramp under I-95 by 8:30...

Pat

You are correct. 15 minutes is hard to attain. I was being fecious. My point was meant to be taken that the trip from Nassau County by car to Old Saybrook will take a lot longer than trailering to Greenport and Coming accross by water..

, Hope it does lay down though. They are talking heavy winds tonite....
