Sounds like a fun event though...

Drag JD and or Rick along too.
I have only been to a few porker runs and such, but I can say that the CT River Run is by far the best gathering of boating enthusiast I been to.
Rich Owen and the Scream & Fly crew are great!

Told FX10 today that he is invited for Hot Toddy Run on the Last Y2K that he finished... Should be fun...

FX10 09-26-2007 07:56 PM

Thanks again John. It should be a blast !! Your not going to let the Bacardi Special beat us, are you ? LOL

H2oscene 09-27-2007 05:33 AM

Rick - Barcardi Special 496 old bottom with world champion driver Vs. 11year old girl driving New Y2K with Merc.525HP and the new bottom??? What do you think...

z.zuperboat 09-27-2007 05:58 AM

lightspeed 09-30-2007 06:12 PM

John We Had A Great Time Out There today

H2oscene 09-30-2007 06:44 PM

Lightspeed thanxs for bringing Shaun out today he got some GREAT Air shots of the Y2K. Jones Inlet did get a little hairy one set I was headed for was so steep and close together that if I would have taken it at speed neither me or the boat would be the same... The videos dont do justice since most was fimed on the run from F.I. Inlet to Jones Inlet run..

WOW... Great Pics!!

It's refreshing to see a few 21 Superboat's running in the ocean.

SUPERSTITIOUS 10-01-2007 06:34 PM

Fabulous shots!

H2oscene 10-01-2007 07:58 PM

That Shaun and Maureen sure can get some great shots... We definatly did some experimenting on Superboat hull strength... Your good to go Rick the boat took about an hour and a half of testing... I hope Shaun or Maureen have some Total Air Shots of the Y2K because I definately got Major Air a few times in front of the cameras

FX10 10-01-2007 08:52 PM

Check out Sean's pics here

H2oscene 10-02-2007 05:23 AM

I checked out Shauns pictures Rick - I am talking about a picture out of the water prop&outdrive measured in feet... I got some Radical Air... Sure would like to get JC to put a picture of the Y2K on his Superboat website...

FX10 10-02-2007 05:46 AM

I'll take care of it John. Spoke with Greg from Scream and Fly. It's OK with them as long as they get the picture credits. I have no problem with that.

FX10 - How did we do in the Hot Toddy run??? I Think we were in for a placing if they had classes instead of just One trophy for "single inboard V - Bottom"...

Got some new video from Sunday, had Maureen from S&f on the Y2K to shot the Video... She did shot some photos also but they where lost in digitalworld...

H2oscene 10-16-2007 06:39 AM

http://media.putfile.com/Tanner---small

And some more footage by Shaun, They both did a great job putting these together... All together Sunday there were probably about 35 boats between the Ocean and Bay thanks to Superbashs organization - Its lots of fun... The more boats the better in my opinion

t-islands 10-16-2007 07:46 AM

I love to watch the outboards scream like that. Nice stuff.

H2oscene 10-16-2007 01:55 PM

How about the Red Boat wheely Ride at 1:00 of shauns video

H2oscene 10-17-2007 09:23 AM

Rick, post some pictures of the FX10 Boats again...

H2oscene 10-28-2007 06:41 PM

First try at a Video with editing...Of course the Y2K is the subject...

Yes very nice Vid !!! Nice to have the beautiful Great South Bay as a backyard !!!! Looks like H20 has the drive trimmed WAY UPWARDS.

H2oscene 10-28-2007 09:50 PM

Fact is it was probably over trimed while messin around , I did trim down for the turns and to get out of the hole...For Top End I find with the Merc. Lab finished 30P the trim position on my trim gauge to be very high around 6 to 6 1/2 ... Spoke to JC about wasted effort from throughing a tail and he didnt think it was abnormal, the boat hits over 83 mph regularly so it has the speed... The boat handles the sharp turns like a big waverunner...Woke up this boring neighborhood for over a half an hour... I wish the Girls videotaping got more of the turns, these videos will have to last me all winter...

TeamSaris 10-29-2007 06:10 AM

Very Cool H20!

FX10 10-29-2007 06:50 AM

Great video John.
