Computer is back and looks to be much better. The stock fuel system is dropping WAY off at about 4600 rpm. It dropped to around 18 psi. He is going to replace the stocker with the Aeromotive unit and that should take care of it. He is going to see if he has all the stuff he needs there. If so, we can dyno tonight. if not, it will be Monday. He did say that at the lower rpms it is making substantially more torque than with the old program. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come!

Great News on the Computer!
Your stock 800 hour fuel system must be tired; I think it is the same Cool Fuel Unit used on the 500EFI.
Are you using an adjustable regulator? What fuel pressure are you running? Just curious...
I think my MEFI 1 runs 36-38psi and the MEFI 3 runs 40-42psi stock.
My pump has like 600hours; maybe I should check the pressure.

It might be worthwhile to check the pressure. We will be running and adjustable Aeromotive regulator with the system. Right now it is the stock cool fuel. He's going to plumb the new pump into the stck rail by modifying it to accept -AN line fittings and then run the return to the cannister filter unit. Is this what is called the Cool Fuel? In any event, it will have a new pump with a return circuit. I'm not sure what pressure we're needing to run, but I think the 42-44 psi range is what Brad is saying. We'll see, hopefully tonight! Think positive for it to happen! You too Masher!!

Good Luck, we are pulling for you.
The Cool Fuel unit gets its name from the cooling water running through the center of the unit.
You were running cooling water throught it, right? If not, that may be why it's loosing pressure.

I'm sure the water was running through. Brad knows it is a cool fuel and knows how it works. I just don't know. I'm not up on all of this boat specific stuff. A lot of it is still pretty new to me. Engines I know, but the boat stuff attached to it I'm still learning.
