It's been awhile since I posted some pictures of the CC. We have the first deck out of the mold and on the hull. The plug is almost complete for the forward hatch (trunk). Will have the mold for that started for that next week.
Also have the next CC deck complete and the hull is almost done. Got the transome and stringers in last friday.
I'll start a new thread for the next Y2K CC.

And here are the seats that will go in the CC. The base flips up to double as a leaning post. a Grand apiece!

Rick, nice to see this project moving along !!!! Great looking seats !!!!

How would those seats work in a Y2K?

FX10 01-13-2008 12:02 PM

Personally, I think they would look like sh!t. Fishing boat seats in a Performance boat?

Just a nice option to flip up the seat if you wanted to stand up.
Never been in a sit down boat,so just thinking it would feel funny, but what I have heard, some would never go back to stand up seats again.Waiting for spring for my ride in a y2k then I will see.

Then you would need a bucket / Stand up bolster like on one of these seats. The bases flip to convert to bolsters. I'll put a pic in the next one.

Here they are flipped up. Not much in the way of side support though.
