The mold for the forward hatch / Trunk was finished last friday. Now comes the wetsanding, compounding and waxing. Hopefull it will be ready by the end of next week.

Finisher making the mold for the Forward hatch / trunk. Pulled the plug out of it yesturday. And spendt the day wetsanding, compounding and waxing it. It will be ready for production next week.

I've been searching the internet for days looking for a large deck hatch for this boat. No luck. So we decided to make our own. It's going to be 5.5' X 2'. It's also going to be used in the 24 CC's.
Here is a pic if the hatch flange plug in the starting stages. |

The fuel tank is an integral part of the hull. It is foamed and glassed in place, between two bulkheads. It is not meant to be removed. The deck hatch is for the forward floor in front of the console. |
