Our part of building the boat should be done in around a few weeks. Then it's off to Aqua Marina in Freeport for rigging. The first one is getting a 300 Merc.

Spayed up the new mold for the forward hatch / trunk, plus skinned it out. Tomorrow I'll lay it up. Wednesday it will be fitted on the deck for the first time.

Rick .... Is Aqua the dealer ? Or are they just doing the rigging ? I take it these first two are going to existing customers ? I am interested in checking these 30's out when finished !!!! Looks great !

Default Nice Progress

Speaking of floors/cockpit soles...will the 30 CC be completely self-bailing, say, with a pair of 200's on the transom & a full payload?

Leopajm,
Aqua Marina is the distributor of the Y2K CC's. Located in Freeport. The first hull is going to Paul, the owner. And the second one is for sale. here's the lnk to his Marina.

Yesturday the forward hatch / trunk was layed up and fully cored it with Divinycell foam coring. Todat it's getting fitted and installed. Have to get the gas lifts, and figure the placement of them. I want this hatch to have a negative pull on it initially, like the cabin hatch on the Y2K. After lifting it a few inches, the gas lifts will do the rest. It should work awesome.
