Can't really tell from the pics, but what did you do about the transom wood to either side of the transom well? Was it a 3 part fix? ...left of the well, right of the well and finally the center?

Mainly, there is 2 pieces of plywood in the transom. We cut them at 45* angles where they go into the well. We put one picec in first then the rest. Its a nice tight fit

IMO. I wouldn't have done the transom like that. I've replaced a few rotted out Balsa cored transoms in Challengers in my day. I would have just cut the well out around 2" around the perimeter. That way you could access the whole transom and replace it in 1 piece, then glass over it. Plus, the cosmetic work would have been 1/10 of what you have now. Hope it works out OK for you. Thanks Rick. We still have to peice that we cut off. The boat is going to be painted though so cosmetic stuff wont be a problem

The transom is 99% percent done. Were beefying up the knees next.
