Personally Noli, as far as going 120 in a cat. I would get my feet wet first before jumping into a big fast cat and possibly hurting yourself, and possibly someone else. If you want speed, throw a pair of 350 Verado's on the back of your boat instead of the 300's. You'll probably do around 90. And believe me Noli, 90 on the water is pretty quick in a 34 V.

thats the ticket, put some 350s on the Superboat. Lot bigger boat then a 32 cat.

Noli- there is the Tres Martin school, I heard it is good, but expensive (I seem to remember $3,000-$4,000 for some reason)


Just something to look out for if you jump to a cat of that size (based on some things my buddy went through a few years ago)- insurance can be tough to get, which can make a loan hard to get.

I would rig that 34' up, run it balls to the wall (how about trip 300's!) and have some fun with it! Then hit up some people with cats for rides, figure out if it is really the right boat for you, and then decide if you want to make the jump!

I agree! That 34 will be sweet when its done, also it would be really entertaining if it ran 90... one would think!:eek:

If it could it get to 90 with twin 350s...imo, thats the way to go.

Noli I would build that 34 to run in the mid 80's to 90's for one most fun but for resale,anyone looking at the boat,wants speed.
