Good info for those contemplating on getting Verado 300HP. There are two gear cases you can choose from:

What kind of performance numbers did you see with the Verados?

This boat is not for actual use ! It's for mocking up and were trying to make the longest thread in OSO history .. If you buy it your not allowed to splash it , your only allowed to try different motors on it and talk about stuff you would like to do .
LOL !

Beleive me when I say I understand the frustrations of the SB community...but more soo for me.

Only a couple of guys out there know the real reason for the removal of the outboard engines.

Kevin, SAW has never splashed. I am hoping someone else can take the reigns on this beauty of a boat and have some real fun with her. SAW is also listed in the classified section of OSO. Where do you currently do your boating Kevin?

I split time between Big Bear Lake CA, Annapolis MD and LI NY.

Good luck finishing the project. It would be a shame to stay dry after 3 1/2 years!

Default front intakes for Opti's

For owners of 250 & 300 Opti's

if you want a front intake instead of the rear intake (causing salt water mist to be sucked in), here's a product about to hit market:
