Talking 1980 Superboat

I thought the guy in Detroit MI selling the 1995 24' Superboat with Bigblock with bravo for $15,000 was a decent deal. I was wishing he came to $12,500 and I would have closed the deal I sent him a few emails through cl never responded to my offer.

There was a guy in Seaford selling a 24; Superboat with a 2001 250hp o/b for $8K with trailer neg.

Both were on the market for a few months, wait until November the prices drop even more boat just are not selling in this economy.

Mike, what drives do you have on your Cig?
If you have accumulated TRS stuff then OK, but I'd much rather a Bravo boat.
I looked at a Banana with TRS and the engine was right up against the bulkhead and not vary easy to work on.
If this next ride is only a second boat and no cabin required, another option would be to find a 22' Donzi Classic.

Had an 18 Donzi. Was fun but i dont know the free board on the 22. Im looking also at a 24 Carrera in NH. Im going to see it Sat. I do want a cain just incase i take it somewhere for an over night at the smaller poker runs. TRS on the Cafe, They have been beefed up but I know will only take so much of a hammering. Im looking into konrads.

In that case I would certainly want a TRS boat. I find it much easier from a maintenance standpoint when all my equipment is the same. Not to mention 2 spare drives if you ever go Konrad. I'm a huge fan of the TRS's. They can arguably handle more power than a bravo, and if you know where to go parts are easy to find. Not to mention they shift so silky smooth!

It may be a bit far from you, but it sure is nice to bring your own power to the game.

Hi Mike,
The 22' Donzi is 22'-6", the 24' Super/Pantera is 23'-7", both 7' wide and about the same freeboard.
No cabin in a 22' Donzi Classic and that is why when we down sized from a 28' Cig, I went 24' Pantera and then 24' Super.
I also had an 18' Classic and they are a vary small boat vs. the 22'.
Have fun with your hunt! It sure is a lot more fun buying than selling...

Pat, you thnk the freeboard is the same on a 22c and a 24SB?
I couldn't imagine standing in a 22c.
