Come on guys, give Joe a break I read all the comments nothing bad said about Superboats by Joe. I have spoke to Joe a few times on the phone and I know he loves his Superboat. As for John C. you either Love him or Hate him he was hard to deal with when I had my new 2005 Y2K built. If it wasn't for Rick ( FX-10 ) I would have pulled out of the boat build. When I had my new Spectre 32 CC built I called him on last time to see if he would build me a Y2K CC with a cuddy cabin, his answer no you don't want that, so I went elseware. Never any disrespect to Superboat, I loved my Y2K and still miss her,but give Joe some slack.

Jim, a few years ago Joe sent me a PM about something he read on Buyerbeware about a boat hitting a bridge, and the guy thought it was a Y2K. Asked me if it was Coens. Told him Coens boat is fine, never hit a bridge.
Personally, I find Joe not to be negative, but opinionated. There is a difference.

Guys I appreciate your standing up for me but the truth is I am a D-head but nobody on here has the rite to call me that . That is only for the people that know me well , and my wife but she usually calls me a$shole !
I edited the Coen bridge incident out because the guy that posted it didn't ever say it was Coen . He was anchored getting some from girl and he said that an old ba$tard in a white and yellow Superboat waxed the bridge about fifty feet from where he was . I put 2 and 2 together and just figured the only old ba$tard I know that would be running around in the middle of the night in a SB was Coen . So theres my negativity . I have more ! And I'm here all nite !
Thank you !

Dave, the price on the 16' is around 10K. And due to the massive weight of the new 4 strokes, we had to lower the HP Rating from 90 down to 75. The last 90 Optimax we did on a 16 (the one on the website) weighed in @ 320 lbs. Thats almost twice what the older 3 cylinder 90's weighed.
