Starting My Y2K Winter Upgrades !
#84
One last time before I sell it and move to my next adventure. Motor has been gone through and I actually found a way to loose some weight. I also got rid of the split driveshaft and carrier bearing reducing some inertia. Last time out it would run 107 mph so I’m thinking she’s got a 110 in her. Hopefully we will find out this week. I’ll keep everyone updated.

How are you lightening her up?
Looks like you gelled the bottom black?

Well it’s paint! She was hanging from the gantry crane, I had already bought the black and the white and just had a last-minute decision to do the whole bottom in black. I love it. I wish I had done it years ago. Losing the big tube CMI headers and the driveshaft carrier bearing probably saved me about 200 pounds. The motor still made over 800 going from the CMI’s to the stainless Gen 3’s
