Any updates? Are you getting ready to splash?

Hi Dave! After we ran it I brought it back to the shop where we found the portside Zeiger steering ram leaking. Pretty unusual but nonetheless send it back for a rebuild. We really haven’t done anything in addition at this point. John’s been working on a 24 cc that he had sold as well as a 21 he’s had, which he has also sold.
l Happened to speak to John today(I bug him weekly!) and he’s been in touch with the new gentleman who took over running the prop department at mercury racing as of January. After discussing our quick run with 2 sets of props, John and his consensus was to try a set a 29 pitch five blades which should be on there way shortly! One of John’s customer who has a 30 cc with 300’s has offered us the opportunity to try his props as well.
Oh! I did actually get the boat registered last Friday finally with Connecticut DMV. That took forever to get an appointment.
also been working on some graphics finally came up with a name....
Was considering
Back in Black
2 Superstitious
but went with .....
“HELLS BELLS”.
A little play on my last name and my love for AC/DC.

Well it’s been a while! Having getting pelted by the rain last December when we first splashed, I did some pondering. I decided to make a eisenglass enclosure. I think it came out pretty sweet with all the contours thanks again to P&G canvas who constantly exceed my expectations! May look a tad goofy to some, but when you want to be out of the elements, I will be grinning ear to ear😊

My wife is thrilled!

They all roll up in bags neatly for storage. My OCD issues.
