I think I'm going to try out my Bravo for my next test ride too.
Not going to happen until next Monday or Tuesday though.
My wife is headed to the Cape and leaving me home with our 18 month old.

Hang in there Pat, Its only 72 hours til Monday... My brothers keep busting my balls about selling my boat when I start having kids. I guess your one up!

Thumbs up Thanks D.sytstem

D.S.

- NICE PICS, NICE BOAT! She is a beauty. I nicknamed her "WHITEPOWER".(haha).
-I just ordered from West Marine online the "ANCHORSHADE" awning($199.99 plus $30 rebate). Just to provide some shade when I want it while anchored, instead of going with a full blown permanent bimini.(in red)
- Pat
What do you think of making the cabin doors out of 3/4" starboard? I measured everything up(54x24x3/4") $139.99 West Marine. And I'm gonna add another hatch support(had to buy two new ones, JC has none of the shortie's left and doesn't know where to get them anymore). I too never liked the cheap, flimsy 3/8" that he used.

Dutra,
Don't let having kids change the things you love to do. You just bring them along... Then they will love it too.

Hey Bash,
I bought one of those umbrella looking things last year too. It's still in the box. We never took our son out on the boat last year. He'll be going a lot this year though, so I hope the shade works well.
I am not crazy about the doors and cabin hatch either. My thoughts are to replace the hatch with aluminum so you can put your weight on it when climbing to the deck. Don't know if the 3/4 starboard will do the trick?

Default 24 Cabin Hatch Upgrade

What would be key would be the "step to deck" f.glass hatch"

Default Not so good...

Took her out yesterday, I'm not getting all my RPM only got 45/46. It was foggy and rough as a ***** though. After my Bike (Bicycle) Race this morning I'll have to go down and change the plugs etc.etc,. and try again.

Sbash.. I have the Anchor shade, I secure it to the four cleats and I'm done! 5 minutes to set up. It definitely comes in handy...You guess what color...

Pat, I dont plan on it, There just trying to bust my chops cuz I'm bringing up the rear slowly... Misery loves company. I intend to keep the Boat, Harley and continue doing Triathlon. Well see... I have to make it to the church first...
Good rest of the weekend ya'll!

I have an Anchor Shade too. They work great.

When I get up on my deck, I step on the passenger seat and then on the dash and over. I try to avoid getting on the deck unless anchoring.

Kids love boats. My daughter is going on 7 and I bet she has at least 500 running hrs. on a boat. My son is going on 4 and he's spent a lot of time haulin ass in the Superboat!
