Columbus Day Ride
 

I'm happy to report that I ended my cruising on the sound with a cloudless Columbus Day trip to Block Island for lunch on . The seas were choppy but the boat handled them so well (50mph) that when I got home I could only think how great a ride the 24' is in those seas. The Island was pleasantly quiet but the stores and restaurants were still open. I think I saw one boat moored in Great Salt. What a day!! Now I will keep my cruising to the Ct. River. Pat, are we ever going to hook up?

Don't have it anymore, but got 73 (gps) on my 1998 24' with a 300 promax and 26" prop (forget rpm's).

I also took yesterday off. Did a bunch of chores around the house, then went for a blast at 2:30.
You are an animal, BI and back...
I just went out to Bell 8 and back, it was a beautiful day.
I would like to hook up with you before the ice forms. I'm out for the coming weekend though, wedding Saturday, cutting fire wood on Sunday.
Monday or Tuesday after 4:00pm might work for me.

93+ in a 21', that is pretty sick! :crazy:

Seems like I have the only that won't go at least 70...
I'll have to fix that this off season. ;)

There is a 30' here in the CT river with twin 300x outboards. I would think that boat would run near 90 too. Anyone know who it is? The boat looks like the big brother to Gassticks...

I have seen that red and white 30 with the twin 300x's also cruising the river from time to time, do not know who it belongs too though.
