Nice mods on the trailer Superbash. I think I need to do the same. I have two sets of 2"6" bunks. The rear bunks do not support my hull like they should. I'll have to go out and take some pics. Is you trailer a Load Rite?

Dave...it's a Venture(I think you remember the trailer bunk dilema I was in when I first got the boat). This is before & after. Originally 3x6 lumber on edge(not good for the 24's deep V, would hit crossmember) I went with the (2) 2x10's on each side. I believe your trailer bunk config. is with the boards laying flat(6" side) against the hull?

Did you notch the cradles?

Notched rear crossmember & rear axle. Added 2x4 for stepp.

Wow! Pretty pretty!!!! I'm off traveling and ended up having to stay through this weekend and next week doing 24 hr coverage at work - nice to know this is what I'm doing all this for!!!
