JMK406 bought JCs demo.
He beat me to it. I was trying to sell my Pantera at the time. I wish Caincando worked a deal with me... :D
The boat is in the same town as mine here on the CT river.
When you come up with a solution, I'm sure JMK will be grateful. He is not happy with the trailer...

Pat,
My solution is in the works. But Venture still hasn't sent my replacement bunks for the split and cracked ones they put on it originally. I got 2x4's sistered to each side with wedges temporary. I liked the poly covered bunks. It's easy to launch and retrieve, but when I add the support, I"ll have to float it off.:(

Hey Superbash,
This is Mrs Krakmeup (soon to be known as SBRAE). You're boat looks GREAT!!!! :-)

Keith was up there this past weekend to see our 30Y2K in her beginning stages. He was EXTREMELY impressed with the work that John Coen does. We cannot wait to come up there and pick ours up. Unfortunately, we have to wait until July, but we'll let you know and maybe we can hook up with a couple of you to go out on your water!!

Keith will be posting some pictures, but he is out in LA and then on to Calgary for the next couple of weeks and his days are quite busy.

Anyway, enough about us. I just wanted to let you know what a BEAUTIFUL boat you have.

See ya,
Ruth Ann (SBRAE)

MRS.K!

I took my test ride 9 am saturday morning. I was getting alarms on my motor, but called JC from the water to tell him. I was n't sure if brother KRAKMEUP was in JC's presence, but told him on the prior Thursday that I would give the guy from Texas a ride if I was in! P.S. Thanks for the compliments. They're good boats.

My bunks look just like Patricks. I don't have any modifications to accomadate the step. My bunks are 2x6's. I have some of those poly covers for my bunks but I didn't put them on yet. I'll post some pics when I get home. My rear bunks support the hull all the way back with about 3" extra.

TRIPPS

I thought I was the originator of the SB 24 SS? Anyway... I gotta bring this thing in for a check up. Still geting a horn and it's limiting my RPM's to 5000.
-DAVE M-
I see. I would of went with a trailer like yours & PAT'S that is step compatable, if someone(?) would have brought it to my attention when I ordered it from him!

Dutrasystem 05-13-2004 09:00 AM

:eureka:
Thanx Bash... It looks like there might be a bit more room in between the buckets compared to the bolsters too. That did it, a call to JC is definitely in order today.

So does Caincando. :D The wif has a pretty good job now after being out of work for almost a year. She's been there 6 months and things seems secure. I'm planning on spending 2004 playing catch up. So hopefully I'll be able to start shopping again in the early months of 05.

superbash,
The more I see of that boat the MORE I like it. Just a few questions. Does the OB model have a longer cockpit than the IO? Why did you choose and OB over an IO and what was the price differnce? Also what does a boat like yours cost? I'm not specifically asking what you paid for it, just a ball park. I'm not in a position to buy right now(see first paragraph:D ) so I'm not going to call JC and bother him.
