Are we trying a nosecone ???

I only put 2 1/2 hrs. on it in the past week (rain & fog). No full sustained WOT #'s until at least 10 hrs. BREAK-IN critical on these race motors. Rick...no nose cone. Years ago the thought was to slap a nose cone on. It is proven that under 80-84mph a nose cone or sportmaster gearcase will actually slow you down. Stock case design adds stern lift at these high seventies and lower speeds. Mine is the torquemaster(heavy duty internals & fatshaft). Just ran into an owner of a 24/ 300X said he hit 78.(forgot to ask step/no step).
