Ga Julie at T. UP wants me to send down the Merc Maximus to tweak out a bit, I lost 200 Rpm 's with prop. Also we will try a 4 blade Hydro ( labbed ) I also would like to try a 6 blade. I know we did a lot of testing last year, but I think we may get another 1 or 2 mphs. What else am I gonna do, no DAMN UPGRADES FOR THE 600 YET. :D

Yet! ;) If you bring it here we will get some more ponies out of it. Trust Me!! :cool:

Gary, What diameter is your 27p Maximus 15 1/4 or 15"...Mercury cut down the defuser ring didnt they?

Ga, thats what Julie asked, I will get that info this weekend. T he 27 Merc.prop we dialed the boat in with is not the same one they gave me. I think the 2ond prop is different ( cut ). What do you think about a 6 blade ???

I would like to try a 6 blade.. but more strern lift? I't would have to be bomb to spend that kind of $$$ but I'd do it if I were sure...
My buddy gave me a Hydro QIV 4 blade 29p. I was told it wouldnt work on my application but I spent the $$$ to make it fit th XR shaft to give it a shot. This is also considered to be more of a stern lifting prop.

78 with a labbed 28p bravo 4bl hitting the rev limiter. I played with 25 & 26 p P5X's and havent been able to top that. So Throttle up bent and tweeked the 25 to 25.6. I only ran it on a very windy Oct. Day. I have as I said 2 29p props. One is a 29 hydro QIV and the other is the Bblades 30p bravo labbed bent to a 29 Im hoping to be the one...My biggest problem is the ability to get the test time in..

Hey Gary,
I'd love to try your 25.6p 5blade at some point if it does not work for you.
Speaking with T-Mone, he loves the P5X on his Pantera.
I was about to pull the trigger on a OFX 4 blade from PowerTech but the local dealer wants full list ($650)... :rolleyes:
At this point, I'm thinking to have my 28p Bravo altered by BBlades and keep my eyes open for a used 26p P5X or another used 28p Bravo... :drink:
