I noticed your speaker placement - did you have that done or did Rick put those in? How much depth was there for the speaker?

Keith little Nick is a real SUPERBOAT LOVER !!!!! And a great nephew. As for speaker placement that was done at superboat by Rick, 2 in cabin and 2 in the cockpit, system sounds real nice you get a really HEAVY BASS from the cabin speakers with hatch closed. So any info. we need Rick.

FYI, Lightspeed placed my speakers higher, above the diagional seam. Ill have to post a pic. I recomend putting them higher cause it closed to your ear. Yesterday I took my boat on Candlewood lake to lounge(read "WAX THE BOAT") and was the 1st time I really listened to the radio. I believe the higher placement is a vast improvement over my 24's placement down low...

Boating of course! I couldnt even tell you if the CD works!
It was the 1st run with the 30p prop. I feel its going to be to much prop. Out of the hole suffers and I couldnt go for top end run due to 45 MPH speed limit :( :mad:

Thanks all! I'm about to cut holes - I plan to put one pair of 6x9's BOTH above AND below the diagonal seam, plus a pair of 6.5's at the knee-space of the front seats. Just had to canel one speaker order because they weren't available, now looking at some JL's and Focale's......

keith sounds like some sound system going in ONCE BITTEN. Thats 3 pair in the cockpit alone. What is going in the cabin ??? What kind of wattage are you powering with ????? Anyway one last boat ride and SUPERBABI is off to the shop today. :(

Still choosing between an Apline and Kenwood head unit, the cabin will not get any speakers since it's always too hot to be in there. The subwoofers are in the footwell bulkheads, and I'm looking at two amps, a mono for the subs (prob 1000 watt) and a four channel (~600 w) for the mids. Looking at kenwoods, JL, fosgates......everyone I talk with has a different opinion, so research is really tough. Time is near to just pull the trigger and buy it. I'm mounting the head unit and amps inside the cabin, then running a wired remote only, up to the passenger dash area. It will keep prying eyes from seeing too much, and make for a clean install....

Probably have to add a few more transducers to the outdrive for all the additional current running thru that boat! :eek:

The computer thinks your feeding the engine 87 rather than 93. It's cutting back on your boost and you're down 100HP... :rolleyes:

Like Rick said, the computer sees low fuel pressure and is cutting the boost... :(
