Tom, Barnegat Bay....is Actually An Estuary Which Is Comprised Of Predominantly Ocean Water Mixed In With Small Amounts Of Fresh Inland Water From Streams That Flow Into It Also. Open Bay Is Probably 90% Salt Water....10% Fresh. Full Title Currents. Yes, It Does Freeze!!!!! Look At 1st Photo..bubbler In Action To Prevent Ice Build Up......oh...........
