Hey Keith,
I recommend that you do not mess with the ECU. I have tried to have mine remapped three times and the stock calibration is the best.
All they do is raise the rev. limit and lean out the engine. You may gain 1-2mph up top but only if you modify your prop to gain the last 100rpm.
I would suggest that you run her stock until the warranty is up, then buy a set of those RTaylor aluminum heads...

Keith,
Back to work. Had the cold from HELL !!! Talked to JC about the Whipple Stage 2. He thinks it's a good idea. Hell, 2 mph is 2 mph. With a light load of fuel and 1 person, you should hit 75. Doesn't 77 sound better ?

I have also heard good things about the whipple stage 2 kit ,but keep in mind you can not go too far with hp with the 496. do a search, lots of threads on here re: 496 upgrades . Its a great 400 to 500 hp package but internals cant go higher and maintain reliability. When warrenty is up think 502 based package.
