Also, have you ever built a glassed in cooler under the rear cockpit bench with a drain?

Tom,
There is'nt much room under the cabin benches, maybe for ropes or something, but it's only around 8" tapering to the outer stringer, which is only around 4". And the two stringers are only 6.5" apart. as for a cooler under the rear seat. All the Y2K's come with it. As far as the drain. I'll pick one up myself for your cooler ( and yes Keith !! You too). I'll make sure they all have them from now on. Believe it or not, it's an option.
As far as progress goes. The stringers are completely glassed in. Tomorrow the bulkheads go in. It's moving right along. I'll try to have pics tomorrow.

Nice! I'll take whatever space there is under those cabin bench's if I can have access.

Tom,
Ask JC about small acess hatches. Don't tell him you heard it from me.

Thanks Rick! Right now that area is used for extra lines and a few tools, etc. I like the idea of it being a cooler, tell me more about the drain, etc.

As I build the stereo cabinet I can free up the bench for some nice, iced adult beverages......

Keith,
It's no more then drilling a 7/8" hole where the 3/8" hole is. and screwing it in with 2 #8 sctrews.
PM me your address, and I'll get one out to you.

Rick
