It varied alot because of the water conditions. I ran the tabs down quit a bit to keep the prop in the water the best I could. I would say somewhere in the mid 4k range. I was thinking to put a rev limiter in to keep it there intead of changing props when racing.

I think that is what most do.
You will have monster acceleration with the smaller prop, not that you don't now.

Congrats Tom, I got your email, try running a 26b1 or a 25Q4,
with a 5600 chip, should be a lot easyer on your drive, If anything works out for the Worlds you can not be able to go over 75, it not just holding back, preaently I'm running 150lbs in the nose and 100lbs ing the storage locker under the Vbirth in rough water if that helps.

Eddie

Congrats to your race results as well! I was wondering what weight to run up front. Since I had no experience with the different balance I decided to just run it as is. I'll take you up on your suggestion with the prop and limiter for next time.
Thanks

I want to do the poker run so bad but my tow vehicle is in the shop and i tried all day to find someone that could tow and
co-pilot for me. No luck as the run is in the morning. I wonder if my friends don't like the way I drive the boat!!!!!

It's all relative... if 80 is fast enough then you can have a nice long warrenty, to go faster you have to give something up. Your not going to hit 100mph in this hull with standard factory motors.
40,000 FOR A NA 598 801HP who was the builder, east coast seems to be around 16,000 to 20,000. with good parts. I am thinking of having my next motor be a 572 or 598 the blower motors seem to be a lot more and merc no thanks had a hp 500. made it in to a 509 with 670hp on its last dyno from 650.
