Superbabi 04-16-2005 05:07 AM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

Tom good idea about the electric hatch. What time did you call???? He could have been doing the sea trial with Maryland Y2k.

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

Tom,
JC bought your guages to my shop Friday. So I guess your deck is ready to get rigged. Once the guages are in, it's assembly time, approx 1 1/2 week. Then it's off to JC's for the motor rigging.

Do you realize that if we did'nt run into the dillemma with the SmartCraft guages on Superbabi. Babi would have been done and you would have been well on your way.
Tom, all the pieces are made. It's just the final assembly.

Just thought I'd let you guys know I ordered these seats. They should be in Superboat land two to three weeks.

SUPERSTITIOUS 04-19-2005 05:26 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

They are beautiful seats. So what color, and what are they running you? Any credit on no seats from JC?

FASTERDAMITT 04-19-2005 05:36 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

OH,
Thier gonna be all white as with the back seats. I'm going to add color on the inside cockpit sides. White seats is the only way to go out here where it gets over 110 deg all summer. The new seats are $1800, however I'm paying $1500 because of an earlier quote made. JC is offering $700 credit for seats only. I still need his base. I need to try and work him more.

Superbabi 04-19-2005 05:41 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

Tom real nice seats !!! They look real comfortable. :D

FX10 04-19-2005 06:00 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

a thousand more then you quoted

FASTERDAMITT 04-19-2005 06:52 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

Ya, I misunderstood. I did some price shopping out west here and all the prices I got was 800+ ea. So I ordered them.

FX10 04-19-2005 07:52 PM

Re: My next boat: Y2k!

Tom,
I would'nt beat him any more. The bases cost a small fortune to make. JC cuts all the pieces. About 2 hours. Then they go to the welder ( $175.00 apiece ). then to the powder coater, around a $ 100. Figure around $ 500.00 apiece. Certain things you can give alittle on. I don't think this is one of them.

Rick
