I needa week to put it all together. After that it's all in Johny D's hands. I need to free up some room in the shop first before I pull youll hull.

Hey Tom,
I talked to JC today about a visit next month. :cool:
He sounded a little stressed with the changes Gary, You, and Gary keep hitting him with... :rolleyes:
But, he did say that he is vary grateful that his business is booming! :D
He ended with, "What ever the customer wants."

From what I've seen the last few months, change is a good thing. He's got some pretty respectable boats comming out of his shop recently. I could be wrong, but If he put our Y2K's on a brochure and marketed it, he probably would double his orders.
I plan on doing what I can on this coast but ya never know. People like Warlock hav'nt changed a thing in years and it shows. Sales are in the toilet compared to 10 years ago.
Then again, does JC really want to grow? :cool:

Jc thinks I'm to blame for alot of the changes. He thinks that I'm talking all you guys into all this exoctic things. LOL But the bottom line is always................. The customer can get anything he wants. JC's just getting alittle grumpy in his ol age.

They look sweet, but check the quality and strength. Our shell is fiberglass. If that seat has a fiberglass shell, it's sweet.
About the back rests. They don't get glassed in untill the deck goes on. They get glassed to the cockpit bulkhead.

Ok, the seats are $850. not $700 a set. Still not bad? I wonder what JC's cost? It is a fiberglass frame same as used in Skater ect... he said. Three to four weeks to manufacture.

I know thats what John gets for the seats if you were just buying seats from him. I Just highly doubt JC will knock off 2 grand & let you provide your own seat since it is part of his package.. He might knock off a little bit. Go with the factory SB seats. Snap in is the way to go. They are easy to get re-covered.

I here ya Bash. The SB seats are nice too, no more than what you need to go fast. However, out here "most people" are so into Bling Bling, the seats I'm looking at would definatly help show the boat.
Have you seen what boats are built like out here lately? Every fancy shiny thing you can put on them. Not quit me. Alot of innovation in style, but thier still lake boats.
I just want people on the west coast to be impressed for the style, quality, and affordabilty of John's Y2K's in this market. :drink:

I must say that The stock seats are very comfortable and kind a no-nonsence ALA SUPERBOAT. I mean those seats are certainly part of the heritage.

If you could give a pic to John that's great. I hope he's not offended. My opinion, all the improvements we've been seeing in the last few months have been great for Superboat. (cabin entry stay, engine hatch scoop, 600SCi ect...)
