To answer your question Gary, No... I was there all day and went thru the boat trying to button up the loose ends and met Phil grom P & G Canvas and went over everything, even designed a bimini(The Mrs's request). I would say definately by next weekend I should be good to go.

:evilb: :evilb: :evilb: John C. did ask me if I wanted my boat in a boating magazine though!!! :evilb: :evilb: :evilb: It seems Eric Colby who writes for a couple publications (the new Speedboat magazine) is doing an article on East Coast Builders Superboat, Progression, Activator, Hustler, Kryptonite, etc, to take place on September 13th and John would like to showcase my boat! Of course I agreed!

I was afraid to call him today and get him away from the task at hand. Phil from P&G was to come over and get the full cover measured. JC said the boat was to go on the trailer today and the outdrive to be installed and the trailer bunks adjusted. Im praying for Friday.. Id be honored with your presence for the 1st run... I also took some pictures

Boat looks awsome Gary. I'm shooting for a friday launch also. We'll see. Next weekend is the Poker Run and Races offshore here. I have to be out there that weekend.

I just got off the phone with Phil. He figured being done by Mon-Tues :eek: I'm urging him to be finished by Friday. He said he'd also like to be done by then cause he's trying to move to his new shop this weekend. Hes going nuts he said but will try to accommodate me by having the sewers stay late. I hope well be all set. Hes gonna try to get to Superobat early tomorrow to lay out the cockpit cover. :evilb:

Tuesday nights are designated for boating.
I am planning to sneak out of work early next Tuesday for a run in the Sound.
If your going to be in Sag., I'll make that my destination...
We'll hook up again before the end of the year I'm sure.

Well its OFFICIAL. Im an owner!!! I squared up with JC tonight. Im headed back down tomorrow after I regester the boat to seatrial her. Phil @ P&G Canvas is working his tail off to get the covers and bimini done for tomorrow night...All in the mist of packing up and moving to his new facility on the N. Shore. THe boat is looking sweet. I was so wound up tonight and pressed for time I didnt snap any pics of the finished product. Tomorrow I'll post some. Ill play with the boat on my week off then its over to my buddys upholstry shop to make up some interior coushions and hopefully installed for the 13th.
