QUOTE=Pat McPherson]Hey Guys,
The ZUPERBOAT had an Imco extension box with a Bravo originally.
That boat ran dam near 100mph with a 750HP MRD. I wish Mike would fine that HOT BOAT article for us...
I think he only changed it because the Bravos kept blowing up...[/QUOTE]

Rick, ya think she can handle 700+? The boat that is. I never seen a Hot Boat article on SB's. I've been a member for 16 years.
I have 3 quotes for similar engines. Gotta talk to JC about installation.

I have picks of the zuperboat in a pokerrun america mag,but thats it.The only article on 30 superboats I ever remember was on the 30 Y2K with the blue and yellow stripe.With 700hp your cruising should be in the 70,s at 4000rpm and top should be low 90,s in the upper 5000rpm range.I think the new Y2K is around 5000lbs where the zuperboat is 4550 with the tank full.Some times just having HP is not going to help,ITS ALL IN THE SETUP.Last year I was at 85 with 550 hp.This year a best of 81 with 630.Slip went from 12% to almost 20%.Test time was very short last year and im hoping this year 2005 to be better but im not starting on a good foot.My new 31p prop didnt look rite to me so I had it checked and its a 28!!So that went back.I will hunt for the article.

Tom,
The boat can handle 700 no problem. Tom, is there a weight limit for the class you want to race. Like factory 1 is 4500 lb.
