Prototype Y2K Single scoop hatch. The mold should be done in around a week. It looks AWESOME so far.

This is the hatch that the next 4 Y2K's are getting. And with No Chincy Round Plastic Vents !! I told John that I would make a template for the front of the hatch. I have a friend who would make a polished Stainless Steel plate for it. Or I suggested to John to make it out of Aluminum, then have it powder coated.
So Gary, Tom, Oh Zone, you'll have the first single scoop engine hatches. Gotta admit, they'll definately add to the cool factor.

I like the idea of a stainless plate...And dont forget a solid anchor point for the electric lift...

Oh Zone, I already talked with him. I'll put in a stringer under the hatch to attach the piston.

I dont know about that one? Kind of looks like its from an old mustang.If you need the height yes.If not how about some type of inner air pan.I do think cappie has an awsome hatch.

Rick, I like the way it wraps aound the back. It does look like the one on my stang. I wont judge it till I see it finished. But I think it will look good.
