Swung by Superboatland and saw the first single scoop hatch and all I have to say is WOW! I think its going to look great installed. Sorry no pics but maybe FX can take a shot of it next week. How about sitting it in Superbabys deck and take a shot!

Yes Bob there was just finished sanding the bottom side and ready to gelcoat it. He was there by himself so I gave him a hand flipping it right-side-up Its awesome!

One thing we need to do is come up with some type of nylon washer/sleeve combo to insert thru the hatch lid holes. They install a 3/8" bolt thru the fiberglass tabs in the rear corners that which the hatch pivits on. Those holes over time I've seen elongate and become sloppy. Bob there said if the hatch struts are used, this in effect can increase the pressure on the drilled holes in the fiberglass and in effect increase the wear. Any thoughts? I mentioned this to JC yesterday but doesent have a fix.

What about the opening in the scoop? Billet insert or what?
