Looks great, but VERY similar to the '07 Donzi / Shelby 22. :party-smiley-004:
http://www.donzimarine.com/assets/se...i_22Shelby.pdf Similar but from the latest photos I think the Sutphen looks better. The rear hatch looks tougher and the cockpit has nicer seats and rear bench. It looks like a larger boat just shrunk down. Nice job Jr. |
Is that paint or gel coat?

Rob We are working on new plugs and molds for our 277 and 31 foot boats, Rich JR will keep us all guessing until they are further along, I will tell you one thing for sure, these new boats will be worth the wait. The look will be very similar to these new 21's, old school Sutphen with a new modern flair. This boats will hit the water late winter/early spring. Ron and I will keep you guys up to date as we get closer. Morgan 845.467.7786 [email protected] |
Rob:
We'll build you something that will fit your wallet. I can send you a spec sheet on the 21 if you'd like. Ron |
I have about a year until I will be in the market so maybe by then the 277 will be in full production. The 21 SSx is a bad little boat but not what I am looking to move into as my next boat.
Take care, Rob |
Rob(Sox):
Stormrider is also named Rob..I should have been more descriptive in responding... Anyway, I was at the shop on Thursday and Rich, Jr. was working on redesigning our deck molds for the 277 and 31. It is a labor intensive project, however, if you like the looks of the 21 you'll certainly like the 277 and 31. Rich, Jr. is very attentive to detail. I'm sure that our 277 and 31 will be a wanted product for all past, present and future Sutphen supporters. Ron |
Right on!

Blue and Silver paint over the white gel on this SSX. We do offer colored gel as well, but with a few coats of clear you can get some great depth and luster with the paints today.
I used to paint alot of vintage race cars before I was sensitized to Isocyanates. The lace, scallop/scale paint jobs of the 60's can make a regular stripe look amazing and deep. They are very easy to shoot too. Just a thought since when I used to bring cars to the nostalgia drags with these paint jobs people went crazy over them. Most younger people didnt even know it was nostalgia thing. |
That 21 SSX is a beautiful boat. Great lines.

We are looking to sell complete boats at this time, a 21LS with a 260hp starts at 42.900.00 with standard features. Give me a call and maybe we can work something out. Morgan Sutphen Performance Group 845.467.7786 |
