So someone with a similar boat stole it for the fuel tank or do you think someone was just looking to make $10 off the scrap aluminum?

The POS that stole the boat cut the floor out for the aluminum tank and stole the fenders and landing gear from the trailer.
Then had the balls to try and tell the cops that i owed him storage fees and for the cover he used to hide the boat.
Crazy world we live in..
Needless to say.. Boat was back at a marina in brick getting restored for the 2nd time And the original owner from 1976 was sitting in traffic along rt 70 in Brick NJ . saw the boat from the highway, and somehow got my number and made me 1 hell of an offer for it..
It's now back in the hands of it original owner.
